Below you will find the answer to some of the more common questions we get asked, if you do not find the answer you are looking for contact using the online enquiry form or give us a call.

Questions 1: Do we have to share jet skis with other people?
Answer 1: Only if you purchase a single pass, if you buy passes for two or more people you will have your own jet ski. Two adults per ski plus one child when applicable.

Questions 2: Is there a minimum age?
Answer 2: All drivers of jet skis have to be 15 years of age and over, passengers can be of any age. We will allow customers under the age of 15 year to have a drive of a ski but only when a responsible adult is onboard and has full control over the ski.

Questions 3: What do we need to bring with us?
Answer 3: Your togs, picnic blanket and food if required, a camera some money if having lunch at Mansion house or want to tour the House.

Question 4: Are there any toilets at the destinations?
Answer 4: There are toilets at our starting and finishing location and at the half way point on Kawau Island.

Question 5: Can we bring snorkeling equipment?
Answer 5: Yes, there are several good snorkeling points along the way and we can supply snorkeling equipment at an additional cost if required.

Question 6: Can we bring cameras, phone and other electronic devices?
Answer 6: Yes, the jet skis have large storage areas and dry storage. Please note all equipment is brought along at the owners risk, Hauraki Adventures take no responsibility for any damage to property.

Question 7: How long does the jet ski safari last?
Answer 7: The safari is a day trip that starts at 10am and we aim to be back at approximately 3:30pm click here for the full days itinerary.

Question 8: How far from Auckland CBD are you guys?
Answer 8: We are a 35 minute drive North of the Harbour bridge, we advise customer to allow a minimum 1 hours traveling time from Auckland city.

Question 9: Are there any additional costs?
Answer 9: No, all cost for jet skis, fuel and guide are included in the price. You do have additional option that you can add to you day but these are clearly stated as additional options.

Question 10: What if the weather bad or you have to cancel?
Answer 10: If we have to cancel your booking for any reason you will receive a full refund or an alternate safari date.

Question 11: What weather conditions do you cancel for?
Answer 11: We cancel booking if the water conditional do not allow safe use of our vessel or heavy constant rain. We do not cancel for cloudy days or light patchy rain.

Questions 12: What if we cancel the booking?
Answer 11: There is a cancellation fee of 30% of the total booking fee, if cancelled less than 24 hours in advance there is a 60% cancellation fee.

Question 13: Will we see Dolphins on the safari?
Answer 13: We do not guarantee you will see Dolphin but we see them a large majority of the time.
